I'm originally from Waterloo, IA, but made my way to Raleigh from Milwaukee, WI.
I grew up in a family that loved to dance. When I stumbled across a Chicago Steppin class on Meetup years ago, I decided to give it a try. Best decision I could have made because I have been passionate about the dance ever since. Steppin has allowed me to meet so many amazing people, some of whom are now considered family.

From Winston Salem NC resides in Fayetteville NC teaching middle school English and wrestling coach for 30 years. Originally began dancing in 2016, learning to East Coast Swing and Detroit Ballroom. In 2018 I began learning Chicago Stepping and I've been a sponge of the dance ever since! I enjoy the freedom or expression of the dance and the connection one has with the music and a partner! I really am loving the networking the dance has led to, meeting new people from different cities and states as well as the opportunities it offers. I am constantly learning and improving my dance so that I can provide a great experience to the hands I touch and be a fruitful member of my organization! See you all on the wood!
